Hier soir, j’ai terminé la lecture d’un livre que j’avais acheté à la Maison de la Presse de Dieppe, Le grand marin. Je l’avais déjà vu quelque temps auparavant, mais ce jour-là en relisant la quatrième de couverture, j’ai eu le sentiment que ce livre allait m’offrir un bon moment de lecture. Une bonne intuition.
Le style de Catherine Poulain m’a plu dès la première phrase « Il faudrait toujours être en route pour l’Alaska ». Ce n’est pas un style qui vous noie, mais qui vous tire simplement vers le bout du monde au milieu des éléments, du soleil, du vent, de la mer et du froid.
