As one of the pioneering voices in podcast-based language learning, this show has provided for nearly two decades what's surprisingly hard to find : French that exists nowhere else. Not textbook French, not simplified YouTube French, not literary French, not radio or TV French - but the French you only hear when you're actually there. Unscripted conversations that aren't simplified for learners, yet remain accessible. Each episode draws from genuine daily life in Paris - family moments with three daughters, cultural discoveries, interviews with French professionals met in person.

Chers auditeurs, je vous souhaite une belle et heureuse année 2021 ! Je vous souhaite une bonne santé avant tout, mais aussi de continuer à être curieux du français, de continuer à étudier et à découvrir cette langue et je vous souhaite ainsi beaucoup de bonheur.
L’année qui vient de s’écouler ne ressemble à aucune autre depuis les débuts du podcast. En me retournant en arrière, je vois le Journal de bord du confinement comme un tournant, un moment inédit et privilégié pendant lequel vous, les auditeurs, et moi nous sommes davantage rapprochés.
Pour commencer l’année, avant de partir pour de nouvelles aventures, je vous propose de vous replonger un peu dans l’ambiance du premier confinement avec la bande-son du premier confinement.
